About This Program
- Pitzer’s interdisciplinary Science, Technology and Society (STS) program applies history, philosophy, and social science (anthropology and public policy analysis) to better understand the social and cultural impacts of science and technology.
- Explore the effects of science and technology on society and culture through a variety of disciplines. You will take classes in Philosophy, History, Anthropology, and Political Studies – it’s truly an interdisciplinary field of study.
